Anyone wishing to suggest a
site for inclusion within the Click4choice web directory is required to read
and be prepared to abide by these terms and conditions.
1. No adult content is
allowed within the directory. This also includes sites that directly or indirectly
link to sites containing such content. Our definition of adult content is
something that would not be suitable for a person under the age of 13 years of
age to view. This includes but is not limited to nudity, strong or harsh
language and or content that could be considered to be offensive. Any sites
suggested that are found to contain pornography of an illegal nature will be
reported to the relevant authorities.
2. We will not list any
sites that either partake in or promote illegal activity of any sort. All sites
listed in the directory must offer legal content. Illegal content includes sites
that distribute illegal or pirate software, Wares sites and any other activity
that is not allowed by law within the United Kingdom of Scotland, England
Ireland and Wales or the United States.
3. We refuse to list any
websites that support or promote hatred, This includes racism, sectarianism,
sexism and any other form of discrimination.
4. Sites that do not offer
genuine content will not be listed. All sites are required to be of a high standard
to be listed. By high standard we do not mean we want artistic wonders, we just
want genuine site that someone has put time an effort into. It must be available 24 hours a day,
7 days a week and must be complete, without broken links or missing links or incomplete graphics
or under construction pages. If a site offers
good content and fits within the other sets of rules that it will be listed.
5. Banner adverts and
affiliate programs. We do not have a problem with sites that use either or both
of these methods for generating revenue. We will not however list a site that is
made up almost entirely of affiliate links or sites that are only targeting Google Adsense or other PPC SE's. This site would not be of value to
the directory and as such will not be listed.
6. We will not list any site
that displays more that 2 pop up banners on entering the site. Users are
becoming increasingly annoyed by this method of adverting. This rule has been implemented
for the benefit of our searchers.
7. We will not list any site
that promotes MLM or get rich schemes
8. We will not list multiple Websites that are under a Theme - such as:
Top spots of Ireland, Top Spots of Spain and so on.
We will how ever accept your Main Website which links to all the others.
9. If you sell a product: We will not list your site
if you do not have an address listed or do not have secure method of payment. We will also reject a site that has a no refund policy
10. Websites must be in English or have
a direct link to a English version.
In general the key to being
listed in Click4choice is to stay within these rules and put effort into
building your website. Please do not suggest your site to Click4choice before
it is finished. If we find a site that is still being build it will not get a
listing.
