Pend Oreille (pond-er-ay) County is located in the northeast corner of the State of Washington--bordered on the north by British Columbia, Canada; on the east by the State of Idaho; on the south by Spokane County; and on the west by Stevens County. There are four incorporated towns in the County; Cusick, Ione, Metaline and Metaline Falls; two unincorporated towns: Usk and Dalkena; and one city: Newport, the County Seat.
