A festival to promote the work of Brazil's preeminent playwright. The festival will be made up of a fully staged production of the Asphalt Kiss at 59E59 Theaters as well as readings by three of New York's premier theater companies. The Asphalt Kiss will be directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde and features veteran Broadway actor Charles Turner as Aprigio. Companies that will participate in the readings are: Black Angel, Classical Theater of Harlem, Tues, October 18, 8pm The Wedding Gown, Repertorio Español, Sat, October 22, 2pm The Seven Kittens, Marie Louise Miller and Labyrinth Theater Co., Sat, October 29, 2pm
